RIP Benjamin Zephaniah
Birmingham-born poet Benjamin Zephaniah gained national attention by rejecting the Order of the British Empire in 2003. Dyslexic, leaving school at 13, and later imprisoned, his writing journey began with a childhood typewriter. He sadly passed away on December 7, 2023. R.I.P.
